Top Quality Companion Boxers
It all began in 1979 when I went along to see Bobbie Singleton who lived near Burton in Kendal to see if she had any boxer puppies for sale,I had always wanted a red boxer and never thought about getting a brindle one but as luck would have it she did have some puppies for sale and I enventually came home with Pensing Silver Lace a "brindle" girl. I used to go along to ringcraft classes at Yealand Redmayne where Mina was put through her paces for training and how to stack and stand for dog showing. As Mina was only a pet and had a lot of faults for the show ring I then bought a show quality pup from the Stirleyhill kennels called Stirleyhill Yum Yum. Having applied for my affix from the kennel club off yum yum went doing the rounds at a few local shows.
Work and family commitments at that time dictated the amount of shows we could attend and yum yum did not go to as many shows as she should have, she was a striking flashy brindle girl, not a red in sight as of yet. Although work commitments ( public houses) drew a line under the showing of the dogs at least they always had plenty of out buildings to have kennels.
In 1982 I then got a red dog called Major whilst we were at a pub in Pemberton near Wigan, he used to cause a stir if he ever got in the public bar and anyone was playing pool, he somehow knew that they could not continue the game if the white ball was missing, so every chance he got of sneaking through into the bar he would jump up at the side of the pool table scatter the coloured balls with his feet and run off with the white one. Leaving many a person fuming because their game had been disrupted. We always had to have extra supplies of white balls as we never did find out where he hid them after he had pinched them.
We then moved to another public house and many is the time I had to go and get yum yum from out of the hairdressers whose window was easy access for her from our side of the building, having gone round to the hairdressers I used to find her sitting there next to some person in curlers under the hair dryer, waiting for her turn.
Since then our affix has been changed as we let the old one lapse and I bought a puppy from the Walkon kennels in Scotland, Walkon Miss Moneypenny.
We are situated near the Duddon Estuary in Cumbria, with the beach on one side and the mountain ranges of the Lake District on the other. With uninterrupted space and walks there is always plenty of exercise for the dogs, and with the beach being literally a 5 minute walk with easy access for those bursts of energy to be burnt off.
On the rare occasion I breed litters, all puppies are reared in the home and vet checked before leaving for pastures new.
They are all brought up to be well socialised members of society, being well accustomed to household noises, children and other dogs with the run of the place.
All Benlin puppies are cared for to the highest standard and follow a strict worming plan.
All new owners recieve information and advice on how to feed and care for your new puppy and after care service if required.
All Puppies will be microchipped as part of our service.
ALL are KC registered & come with six weeks free Insurance, which is automatic when you register your new puppy with the Kennel Club.
